Celebrating 60 years of making a difference: Refugees Reframed

On International Migrants Day in December 2023, Migrant Help embarked on a mission to challenge perceptions by bringing attention to the stories often overlooked behind the headlines. Through the Refugees Reframed campaign, the organisation aimed to challenge negative views about refugees in the media, showcasing stories of resilience, diversity, and success.

The Refugees Reframed campaign consisted of a Vanity Fair-style photoshoot highlighting amazing people who have sought asylum in the UK. Participants came from across the UK with a mix of backgrounds, ages, genders, and ethnicities. Their roles varied, from teachers and entrepreneurs to students and advocates. Each person embodied resilience and hope, rewriting stories of adversity into tales of triumph.
