The Green House is a stunning new eco workspace in Bethnal Green, offering superb on-site facilities in the vibrant location of East London’s Cambridge Heath Road.

Space is available for charities, non-profits, social enterprises, ethical businesses and local community organisations.

The centre is fully accessible and designed to achieve a BREEAM rating of Excellent, placing the building in the top 10% of new builds for environmental performance. 

 

Location

Bethnal Green Underground station is just a 7-min walk, and Cambridge Heath Overground station less than a 1-min walk. 

With a wide range of exciting cafes, restaurants and businesses, as well as Victoria Park, Regents Canal and London Fields located right on our doorstep, there are plenty of interesting places for lunch as well as great spots and activities to bring the staff team together after work!

Our prices start from just £1250 + VAT per month with offices ranging from 29 - 350 sqm in size, to meet the needs of both small & large organisations who meet our tenancy criteria.

 

Flexible Contracts

We are a social landlord, and we understand that charities and social organisations can face various challenges with funding and finance. So we offer a five-year flexible lease, with a tenant-only break clause.

What does this mean? That only you, as the tenant, can end the contract, and you have flexibility to end the tenancy within the 5 year period. This means The Green House is your home for the full 5 years, as long as you want it.

 

About The Green House

The Green House is a fantastic award-wnning office centre in Bethnal Green, owned and managed by Ethical Property.

The has 4483m²  of office space as well as meeting rooms and communal spaces including a living roof and roof terrace.

It helps us to meet the rising demand from social change tenants who need flexible and affordable workspace in East London. It is already home to many major social change organisations including Extinction Rebellion and social impact companies such as Beryl Bikes.

The design by architects Waugh Thistleton took our vision of a sustainable work place that offered natural light and stunning communal spaces to the reality of the wonderful building we now have today.

The new building also significantly improves our environmental performance, while simultaneously lowering the operating costs for ourselves and our tenants. Over 1,600 tonnes of CO₂ were saved during the build which is a huge saving compared to traditional forms of construction.

She has worked for the Ministry of Culture of Colombia and has more than 10 years experience in the formulating, monitoring, evaluation and diffusion of programmes and projects aimed at all artists, researchers and managers in the social and cultural sector.
