Location

Vauxhall is centrally located close to the main seats of government power in London, serving as an excellent workspace location for the many campaigning organisations who are our tenants. A short hop across the river from Westminster, The Foundry is positioned as an ideal workspace and conference centre for those speaking truth to power.

Even by London standards, Vauxhall has incredible transport links. There are many ways to get here, with Vauxhall tube and train station a short few minutes way, and Oval from the other direction. Well-serviced by excellent transport links including dedicated cycle paths and a variety of bus services. Working here, you're surrounded by all the vibrancy that London has to offer, but if you're in the mood for a casual stroll, nearby is beautiful Vauxhall Park, with tennis courts and a model village, or the Pleasure Gardens - both excellent places to relax and unwind.

The Foundry started life as a shoe-polish factory, and in 2015 was successfully redeveloped into a beautifully light and spacious work, that is RIBA award winning, and BREEAM rated 'Excellent'. A truly exciting and dynamic social justice centre, it's a place that buzzes with life and a regular programme of events hosted not just by the centre itself but our incredible mix of tenants.

It's a buzzing place where likeminded organisations come together to share ideas, collaborate, network and make change happen. We know change doesn't happen in silos which is why there's a fantastic array of breakout spaces, including several roof terraces, an on-site cafe, and conferencing and exhibition spaces to develop those relationships, promote your latest campaign, and give light to your progressive agenda.

The Foundry is a joint venture between Trust for LondonJoseph Rowntree Charitable TrustThe Barrow Cadbury TrustLankellyChase Foundation and The Ethical Property Company.
