Established in the Netherlands in 1989, Penal Reform International (PRI) is an international non-governmental organisation (NGO) promoting fair and effective criminal justice systems worldwide through practical programmes and systemic reform.

  1. Flexibility:

For our five UK-based employees, renting office space at The Green House was the perfect solution when we were looking to move to new premises. As a small team, having access to the same facilities as other larger tenants, including meeting rooms and communal spaces, is hugely beneficial.

Our tenancy agreement at The Green House runs until March 2025, so one of the reasons we decided to rent with Ethical Property was the reassurance that any future changes to our requirements would be accommodated. It could be that we want to move to a larger space or we may need to terminate the agreement sooner than expected. Ethical Property’s leases offer flexibility and prioritise tenants- which we found to be a unique offering.

We moved into The Green House in September 2020 and despite the challenges of lockdown and hybrid working, the friendly and helpful team at Ethical Property make the office a very pleasant and welcoming environment. Our costs cover maintenance and services such as cleaning, utilities and broadband access – everything is set up and ready to go with any support required being offered by the on-site team.

The office is light, bright and spacious and we love the living roof garden and spacious roof terrace with great views.  It’s the perfect place to enjoy lunch or host informal meetings.

We were previously based in Hackney and wanted to stay in East London as it’s such a convenient location. The Green House is in Bethnal Green and just a short walk from two underground stations, making it an easy commute for our employees who travel from Walthamstow, Barnet, Forest Hill, Highbury and Clapton. Bethnal Green is such a vibrant location with an abundance of eateries and shops on the doorstep; it’s nice to work in a thriving community. We’re also near some great outdoor spaces including Victoria Park and Regents Canal, giving us somewhere to escape when we need a break from our desks.
