This Earth Day, we’re taking a moment to reflect on something that has guided Ethical Property since our very beginning: a commitment to protecting the environment and supporting a more sustainable future.

Long before sustainability became a buzzword, Ethical Property was founded on the belief that buildings can and should do more than simply provide space. That workspace should support people, communities, and the planet. That principle has shaped every decision we’ve made over the years, from how we design and manage our spaces to how we measure our impact.

Our environmental commitment runs deep. In fact, Ethical Property was one of the first companies in our sector to commit to being independently audited, ensuring our social and environmental performance is transparent, accountable, and continually improving. We believe that meaningful action starts with honest measurement.

This Earth Day, we’re also celebrating the small but powerful steps that can make a real difference. Across several of our centres, we’re giving out seeds to our tenants, inviting them to help improve local biodiversity, whether that’s planting on a windowsill, in a garden, or in a shared outdoor space. It’s a simple gesture, but one that reflects our belief that positive environmental change is something we can all take part in.

By supporting biodiversity, we’re not only helping nature to thrive but also strengthening the connection between our buildings, the organisations within them, and the wider communities they serve.

Caring for the environment isn’t a once‑a‑year activity for us. It’s embedded in how we operate, how we invest, and how we work alongside our tenants every day. Earth Day is an opportunity to celebrate that shared commitment and to keep growing it together.

Happy Earth Day from everyone at Ethical Property.
