Celebrating International Women’s Day 2026: Championing Equality at Ethical Property

International Women’s Day on Sunday 8 March 2026 invites us to pause, reflect, and celebrate the women who shape Ethical Property every single day. It’s also a moment to reaffirm our commitment to building a workplace where women feel supported, valued, and empowered to thrive at every stage of their careers.

At Ethical Property, gender equality isn’t a standalone initiative, it’s woven into how we lead, how we collaborate, and how we plan for the future. Our Board is majority female (four women and one man), ensuring that women’s voices and perspectives actively influence the strategic direction of the organisation. This balance isn’t symbolic; it strengthens our decision‑making and reflects the inclusive culture we work hard to nurture.

Our Senior Management Team mirrors this commitment, with three women and two men working side by side. This blend of leadership styles and lived experiences creates a collaborative environment built on respect, accountability, and shared ambition.

Across the wider management team, we continue to maintain a healthy balance, with three women and four men in leadership roles. These numbers matter, not because they are targets, but because they reflect the kind of organisation we strive to be: fair, representative, and forward‑thinking.

We know that supporting women at work goes far beyond career progression. Wellbeing, health, and life outside of work all play a vital role in enabling people to perform at their best.

That’s why we introduced clear menopause guidelines, an important step in ensuring colleagues navigating this stage of life feel understood, supported, and able to work comfortably. By opening up conversations that have traditionally been overlooked in workplace policy, we’re helping to reduce stigma, build understanding, and create a culture where everyone feels able to bring their whole selves to work.

Our approach to equality is rooted in listening. We learn from the experiences of our colleagues and respond in ways that make a meaningful difference. Whether through inclusive policies, transparent leadership, or everyday acts of support and respect, we’re committed to creating an environment where women can grow, lead, and succeed.

This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the women whose contributions, insights, and leadership strengthen Ethical Property Company every day. And we renew our commitment to ensuring that equality isn’t just a value we talk about, it’s something we live, embed, and champion across the organisation.

As we continue to evolve, your experiences and perspectives will remain at the heart of our progress. If there’s anything you feel we could be doing better—or differently—we’d love to hear it.
