Ethical Property provides space for over 300 change-makers across the UK
Our tenants range from not-for-profits, charities, campaigning organisations, all the way through to ethical businesses, independent retailers, creatives and sole traders. Tenants within our Centres benefit from well designed and practical facilities, flexible contracts and the presence of similar organisations and individuals – all of whom can provide further support and partnership opportunities as well as a sense of community to otherwise potentially isolated groups.
We're looking for tenants who deliver social change and that meet our Ethical Criteria to ensure we can continue providing nurturing spaces full of like-minded organisations with similar goals and values.
It is great to work in a building with like-minded charitable organisations, many of which are small and going through similar challenges
- Excellent Development, The Foundry in London
Working in the Ethical Property building allows us to exchange experiences, ideas and thoughts with others who are working on important and challenging issues, just like us. We have also collaborated directly with several other tenants in the building.
- Climate Outreach, The Old Music Hall in Oxford
We're proud of the fact that so many of our tenants stay in our buildings for a long time. As their needs change, we ensure our contracts are flexible allowing them to expand (or contract) space with us, as they grow.
One of our first tenant organisations included the Soil Association, now the country’s leading campaign organisation for organic food and farming and sustainable forestry, and Saferworld, the research and campaign group on armaments, now well-established in central London.
We also provide a Hardship Fund for Tenants who need temporary help with paying any rent or bills due to funding problems. This has meant that we have been able to support them in a temporary hiatus so that they are able to stay with us for longer, and continue to deliver social change.
Today, we are home to organisations such as: The Brighton Green Party, Oxfam UK, Guide Dogs, Friends of the Earth, Amnesty International, The Big Issue Wales, St Mungos, Extinction Rebellion + many more

We’ve really benefited from being in an Ethical Property building and working alongside other tenants. We’ve made some great contacts with other artists and studio holders in Brighton’s Open Market and spread the news of the kind of work our charity does.
- Grace Eyre Foundation, Brighton Open Market Studios in Brighton
