With it's beautiful and traditional façade, The Old Music Hall stands out amongst the many eateries and independent shops for which the Cowley Road has become famous.

The building itself has always had community at its heart. Originally built in 1898 as a public hall, library and three shops, it has since been a music hall, theatre and cinema, as well as home to Blackwell’s Book Shop. 

Today, as well being The Ethical Property Company’s Head Office, almost 40 other fantastic organisations work within its varied and atmospheric offices - mainly charities, social enterprises and small local businesses.

Our desk space packages include your own dedicated desk and pedestal unit, your own unique direct telephone line, internet connection and access to a black and white printer, all in a shared office environment.

Office Space

The Old Music Hall offers a variety of private office spaces ranging from small, one person rooms, to large open plan units suitable for up to 20 desks. 


All space packages are fully serviced and allow secure 24/7 access to the Centre.

    Desk spaces are available from £220.00 + VAT (£263.00) per month.

    Office space is available from £1,012.00 + VAT (£1,207.00) per month for approximately 35m² or space for up to five desks.

    IT Support

    Our sister Company, Ethical IT, provide all IT and the telephone systems within The Old Music Hall ensuring that any faults or issues with regard to IT or phone system infrastructure are dealt with quickly and effectively.

        Terms & Conditions

        Tenants are responsible for the payment of any additional business rates, contents insurance, phone calls and use of photocopiers and printers.

        Our contracts are really flexible - there is no fixed minimum term and tenants can give notice at any point during their contract period. For desk spaces we do ask that tenants commit to a minimum of three months tenancy.

        The notice period relates to the size of office that is rented, and will vary from 1 – 6 months.

        VAT of 20% is applicable on all space and services at The Old Music Hall. All costs shown are inclusive.

          Property Manager, Oxford
          John was appointed Property Manager at the Old Music Hall in 2014. John has many years of experience in project management within the manufacturing industry and covered a wide range of roles at an Oxford based commercial social enterprise that provided work experience and training to people with employment handicaps.

          Regional Manager, North and Midlands
          Jonathan joined Ethical Property in March 2016, having previously worked in a variety of senior roles for national charities, developing and managing services for people with a learning disability. Jonathan’s experience of supporting dispersed teams, across a wide geographical area, will be useful in managing the North and Midlands Region.
