The Green House is a fantastic new Centre in Bethnal Green, owned and managed by Ethical Property, which is designed to provide office, meeting and shared space for social businesses, charities and not-for-profit organisations in London.

The building is almost 50,000ft² and will enable us to meet the rising demand from social change tenants who need flexible and affordable workspace in the capital. The new building will also significantly improve our environmental performance, while simultaneously lowering the operating costs for ourselves and our tenants.

The new building is being designed by architects Waugh Thistleton, leading sustainable building designers who specialise in engineered timber construction. This will significantly reduce the carbon footprint compared to traditional forms of construction.

Conrad Peberdy, Interim Managing Director at Ethical Property said, “These are significant transactions for Ethical Property which will enable us to upscale our activities in order to meet growing demand from potential tenants. This is vital at a time when property in the capital is increasingly out of reach of voluntary and community organisations due to rising rents and loss of office space."
