Jamie is the co-founder of the Ethical Property Company and was Managing Director from 1998 to 2010.

In his past life Jamie was an award-winning documentary film-maker on environment and development issues for Channel 4 and the BBC and has travelled extensively in developing countries.

He was also assistant director of the charity Television Trust for the Environment before setting up his own production company Small World. He has also worked as a press and parliamentary officer for the World Development Movement.
