Heike spent nearly all her working life in the book industry in Germany and ran her own children’s bookshop with wooden toys in Upper Bavaria for a while. She also volunteered for different Amnesty International groups in Germany.

After she came to Manchester in 2005, Heike worked as an administrator and manager for a publicly-funded project supporting unemployed people into self-employment.

Heike joined the company in March 2010 as a Property Manager in the Green Fish Resource Centre in Manchester. She enjoys working for the Ethical Property Company, because there is a very friendly and open atmosphere and her personal aims coincide with the company’s.
