Our covered outdoor market square is ideal for themed events, campaigns, arts and music, and is host to a wide variety of activities in Bath’s annual calendar.
We provide office space to a variety of social change organisations serving the Bath area. The South Vaults is below the main Green Park Station Concourse.
Green Park Station was originally Queen Square Station, built in
the 1860s, and in operation as a working station until the
1960s.
Ethical Property is pleased to announce a new partnership with
Bath and North East Somerset Council, housing their new Avon Valley
Wheels Project in our North Vaults.
"Simple cycling for all", sums up the aim of this
innovative approach to outdoor exercise and active travel. Cycling
is excellent gentle exercise and AVW offers those who haven’t
cycled for a while the opportunity to join small, led rides along
the Bristol to Bath cycle path. Either using your own bike, or
hiring one from site, what better way to get fit and meet new
friends! If you’re from a community group or organisation
they can arrange specific custom rides. For more information on the
scheme, click
here to see how a similar scheme works in Radstock.
Newly appointed Community Cycling leader Tom Webster is
co-ordinating the scheme and will be leading the rides. We hope to
get wheels rolling out of Green Park Station during July. This is
just in time to get more people ready to get out on their bikes for
the Bath Sky Ride on the 25th July. http://www.goskyride.com!!
AVW cycles can only be hired for use on the schemes led rides.
However Ethical Property are also in discussions with the Council
to house a general bicycle hire scheme at the Station – watch
this space!
