You could be the judge! Come along to the Market Square on Sunday
12th September (10 - 5pm) and choose your favourite painting, at
the Framecraft Environmental Art Competition!
The atmospheric backdrop of Green Park Station is fertile ground
for artists and performers looking for inspiration. Reaction to the
stunning architecture and memories of ‘trains gone by’
has generated several site specific drama and dance pieces, often
performed by students & young people – something we want
to encourage more of!
Over the past year, we have met a number of French organisations -
potential tenants, investors and partners – who are keen to
see Ethical Property Centres established in France. This August saw
the birth of étic, a French “Société par
Actions Simplifiée”, which will take the projects
forward.
On Friday 3rd September our monthly Friday market is back with more
super offers from new and regular traders. Come on down and grab a
bargain!

Friday 2nd July is the launch of Green Park Friday!
Ethical Property will be running monthly Friday markets at Green
Park Station as our way of further supporting the growth of Bath's
local traders and artisans.
Ethical Property is pleased to announce a new partnership with Bath
and North East Somerset Council, housing their new Avon Valley
Wheels Project in our North Vaults.
It’s Bath Fringe time again, and we’re working closely
with the Fringe organisers on hosting a number of fantastic events
at Green Park Station as part of the festival.
Undergraduate Dance students from Bath Spa University will be
joining forces award winning choreographers , digital artist and a
BAFTA winning composer to take over Bath’s Green Park Station
during the week of 15-19 March.
The Ethical Property Company was ten years old last
year. We have come a long way since we undertook our first
share issue in May 1999. It's been an exciting ten years,
characterised by strong and steady growth, and this last year has
been our most successful yet.
We're hosting a talk on the history of Green Park Station, open to
all those interested in learning about the history of our beautiful
site, from its Victorian beginnings to its re-birth as a
destination for events, shopping and markets.
We’ve got big plans in store over the years to come, which
are now taking shape for our next round of investments. With
funds raised in 2010, we hope to set up new centres in Leeds,
Brighton and London.
We’re working with the Bath Quaker group to undertake
building maintenance and improvements to their Meeting House in
Bath, as well as to help develop their meeting rooms for hire to
more social change groups in the city.
A long-awaited event just took place in Mundo-b : the centre now
hosts 60 solar panels on its roof. The installation this December
will enable Mundo-b to produce its own electricity and decrease its
need for ‘dirty’ electricity by 10%.
We are working with Charity Business to provide a series of free
seminars at the Old Music Hall on a range of topics relevant to
charities and non-profit organizations. This month’s topic is
Strategic Financial Management, and thay have opened up 6 places
for OMH tenants!
