Ethical Property moved to Bath in November 2008, to take on the
lease of Green Park Station: we now also manage the Friends Meeting
House. Bath and Somerset is home to a number of social change
organisations throughout the city, its market towns and rural
areas.
Green Park Station is a thriving platform for local life and culture right in the heart of Bath, providing space for local, ethical businesses and organisations to grow.
We host events and themed markets throughout the year. Whether it’s local music, dancing displays, exhibitions or campaigns, Green Park Station is a regular location for locally-focused events.
Check out what's happening at Green Park Station in the coming months.

We're hosting a talk on the history of Green Park Station on
Wednesday 3rd March, at 6pm in the Bath Society Meeting room,
upstairs at the centre. The talk is open to all those
interested in learning about the history of our beautiful site,
from its Victorian beginnings to its re-birth as a destination for
events, shopping and markets.
Our “History display”, unveiled in the foyer of the
station in 2009, celebrates the life of the station.
Queen Square Station was opened in 1869 and formed park of the now
closed Mangotsfield and Bath mainline. The Station was closed
in 1966, with the decline of English railways
nation-wide.
After years of dereliction, the site was painstakingly restored by
the Bath and North East Somerset Council, beginning in the
1970s. Green Park station was then re-born to Envolve, who
developed the site as a market and shopping
destination.
The talk itself will be delivered by Mike Arlett, who is well
known for several television series, books and dvds on local
railways in Bath and Somerset & David Stubbs, Chartered
Surveyor and Mayor of the Bath Honorary Guides.
So come down and join us, learn some fun facts about the station,
here about the restoration effort which helped make the station
what it is today.
