Reg from the CD stall

While many of the second hand record and CD shops in Bath have closed, Reg has continued selling records, CD’s and DVD’s at a high level, and this year Reg is celebrating fifteen years at Green Park Market. Reg’s special interest is in the film and movie industry.

Reg is also dedicated to helping local bands and artistes, who can advertise their gigs and sell their CD’s, with no premium, on the stall. Earlier this year there was a successful trial live gig by local artistes on the stall and this is to continue under the auspices of ‘The Busker Sessions’. Further sessions will take place on Fridays at 2pm on 6th August, 20th August, 3rd September, 17th September & 1st October. The Busker Sessions are free & all are welcome!

Reg was the first trader on the market to gain the Sustainable Trader Mark. His commitment to recycling can be seen not on in what he sells, but also through the fact he never throws a CD away. Any spare stock is either donated to charity shops or (if damaged) sent away for recycling. There is no waste or excess packaging from his stall and to top it all he walks in to the Station!

To celebrate his 15 years, Reg is having a party in Bath this November (date to be announced), with live bands, DJ and food. Free tickets will be available to customers at the stall in October. Love Your Music!
