Investment in social business is increasing, and we continue to grow as an organisation despite the recession. Our recent successful share issue has raised €2.7 million from private investors.
We’re working with the Bath Quaker group to undertake building maintenance and improvements to their Meeting House in Bath, as well as to help develop their meeting rooms for hire to more social change groups in the city.
Ethical Property is an international family of organisations with the common aim of making the best use of property for society and the environment.
As well as our weekly Saturday Market (which includes Bath Farmers' Market). We also host events and regular themed markets throughout the year. Whether it’s Vintage & Antique markets, local music, dancing displays, exhibitions or campaigns, Green Park Station is a regular location for locally-focused events.

We’ve got big plans in store over the years to come, which
are now taking shape for our next round of investments. With
funds raised in 2010, we hope to set up new centres in Leeds,
Brighton and London.
In London, we’re working with the City Parochial Foundation
on plans for a new Human Rights centre. We’ve met with a
number of small, but highly effective social change groups in the
city working on human rights and social justice issues, and hope
that through the development of a high quality, central and
accessible centre, we can help to extend the reach and influence of
their work. Plans for a new public market space in Brighton are
also underway, as well as an exploration of sites to bring
together social change support organisations in Leeds and social
enterprise support groups in Edinburgh.
It’s amazing how far we’ve come in ten years, and how
quickly we’ve grown and expanded around the
country. With this rate of growth continuing, we have welcomed
Conrad Peberdy, our new Director of Development, to Ethical
Property. Conrad now works closely with Peter Allen to develop
new business opportunities.
