Traditionally a regional administrative centre, and market centre of the local Yorkshire wool trade, Leeds is now one of the UK’s leading financial and legal centres outside of London.

The city has a very active community development sector and our Roundhay Road Resource Centre provides office space and resources for local community groups working towards social change.  The centre is also home to the regional base for many national organisations.
