Dividend history
The Company offers Investors the chance to make an ethical
investment in property that offers the potential for financial,
social and environmental returns.
Ethical Property has paid a dividend every year for ten years,
starting with 3 pence per Share in 2000 and rising to 3.25 pence
per share in April 2005, and 3.5 pence in April 2010.
Our dividend is announced each February with the release of our
Annual Report. Dividends are payable every April, following
their approval at our Annual General Meeting in March.
Dividends paid
Shareholders in Ethical Property are offered the choice to waive
their dividend each year. These go in to our "Making
Waives" fund each April. The Making Waives fund was set
up to allow us to explore and develop new initiatives that
strengthen oru social and environmental returns.
In the last 12 months shareholders who have opted to waive their
dividend have supported the development of an ethical standard for
the property industry - a partnership project with Ethical Property
Foundation, a recuycling awareness programme in our centres and
supported our rental hardship fund for those organisations with
short-term funding problems.
