The Sheena Amos Trust (SAYiT) is a charity that works with vulnerable and marginalised
young people between the ages of 12 to 25.Young People’s (YP) sexual health and emotional well-being are the primary concern of the charity. Support and social opportunities take place with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender young people (LGBT), and those who are affected by HIV. The charity is committed to breaking down prejudice that LGBT young people and their communities face.
The projects that SAYiT run vary, with the emphasis being on fun and education through participation. Participation in the activities gives the young people the time and opportunity to develop self-worth and to build friendships with other YP.
Scotia works allows such opportunities to be realised. The environment allows networking possibilities with other organisations that use the building. The large atrium is perfect for holding parties or multi-agency events. The meeting rooms are ‘roomy’ modern and perfect for the projects we run.
