Development House is currently our largest UK centre, home to over 30 organisations set across eight floors in the heart of Shoreditch. The Centre has a great sense of community with tenants benefitting from regular centre management meetings, tenant-led gardening and cycling groups and after work yoga classes.
Located a short walk from both Old Street and Moorgate underground stations as well as countless cafés and restaurants, being based at Development locates you in the centre of one of the most energetic and exciting areas of London.

In May 2016, The Ethical Property Company completed the sale of Development House and the purchase of a replacement building in Cambridge Heath Road, Bethnal Green. Opening in 2018, the new Centre will be almost twice as large as Development House and will be built using sustainable materials as well as being designed to have a significantly reduced carbon footprint, providing tenants with lower operating costs.

Our desk space packages offer an affordable and flexible workspace including furniture and storage facilities for charities in a shared office with all the benefits of being based in the Centre.
Development House has a wide range of office spaces from smaller self-contained spaces to large open plan units suitable for up to 40 desks.

Desk Spaces are available from £337.00 + VAT (£401.00) per month.
Office Space is available from £1,379.00 + VAT (£1,655.00) per month for approximately 35m² or space for up to five desks.
Our sister Company, Ethical IT, provide all IT and the telephone systems within Development House ensuring that any faults or issues with regard to IT or phone system infrastructure are dealt with quickly and effectively.

Tenants are responsible for the payment of contents & public liability insurance, phone calls, use of photocopiers and franking machines.
Our contracts are really flexible - there is no fixed minimum term and tenants can give notice at any point during their contract period. For desk spaces we do ask that tenants commit to a minimum of three months tenancy.
The notice period relates to the size of office you rent, and will vary from 1 – 6 months. VAT of 20% is applicable on all space and services at Development House. All costs shown are inclusive of services and VAT.
