The Friends Meeting House contains two large flexible and well-equipped halls, available to hire for organisations looking to host meetings, lectures, conferences, or more informal workshops and creative events.
The Georgian building, which was built in 1817 for the Bath Freemasons’ lodges and acquired by the Quakers in 1866, has undergone refurbishment in recent years. Its central location is ideally situated close to both the railway and bus stations as well as being just a two minute walk from Bath Abbey and the River Avon.
The Lower Hall seats up to 60 and the Upper Hall up to 100 people. The Upper Hall measures 9m x 15m, the Lower Hall measures 6m x 11m.
The Upper Hall has refreshment facilities, a public address (PA) system and a hearing loop. Both rooms have Wi-Fi internet access.
The Lower and Upper Hall are available to hire in the evenings from 5pm Monday to Friday, as well as all day Saturday, and Sunday after 3.00pm.
Please note that we are unable to accept any bookings for after 31st March 2019.
