The centre is based on the top 2 floors of 46-50 Oldham Street, which was originally one of the first Marks and Spencer stores in the country! It houses four organisations working on voluntary sector support and community regeneration - Voluntary Action Manchester; Community Accountancy Services; Community Technical Aid Centre and Community Arts North West.

The centre also houses a hot desk facility for refugee organisations. This provides three refugee groups - Kurdish Creative Film Company; Federation of Iraqi Refugees and Eritrean Community - with low cost office space, a computer and practical IT support.
