Head of Finance
Ethical Property has successfully come through the worst recession in 60 years, and has continued to pay a dividend every year. We have about half the empty space of our more traditional competitors. We are now experiencing more demand for space than we ever have done in our history, and the completion of The Foundry in London, our biggest project to date, has increased our profile.

We have ambitious growth plans; in the near term this is likely to include new projects in Manchester, Bristol, Cardiff and London. We plan to continue to improve financial performance, increasing dividends and share value, at a rate to enable the company to repay debt for the first time and invest in our long term future. We are planning a share issue in 2015 to raise funds for further significant growth. Our joint venture, Ethical IT, has doubled in size in two years and is continuing to achieve rapid growth. It is therefore a very exciting time for Ethical Property, and we have considerable potential to expand.

We are now looking for a Head of Finance to; manage our budgets, forecasting and reporting, financial accounting, manage the Finance team, and manage our finance systems.

The salary is c£45,000, along with a 3% to 7% company contribution to pension, and 25 days a year annual leave.

Maintenance and Refurbishment Manager, Full Time
Salary: £35,500 to £44,000 a year, for 37.5 hours a week depending on skills and experience

The role
A unique opportunity has arisen for a capable and enthusiastic individual who shares our values to work for one of the UK’s leading social businesses. You will work as part of the Operations Department management team with specific responsibility for planned maintenance, refurbishment, improvements and health and safety of the buildings we own and manage.

Substantial relevant work experience is required, including the design and delivery of refurbishment and general maintenance work to a high standard. You will need to be flexible and able to prioritise quickly to meet deadlines. All your work will be in accordance with our ethical and environmental principles.

The Maintenance and Refurbishment Manager reports to the Operations Director and will work closely with colleagues in the regions and at Head Office to ensure that Company best practice in ethical property management is followed.
