Brighton Eco-centre, Brighton
Brighton Eco-centre is one of our smaller centres and offers office space in a building that accommodates predominantly peace, environment and development focused organisations. Located opposite Brighton railway station, it was first opened in October 2003 after a relatively minor refurbishment.
As well as providing traditional office space, the centre also houses a resource centre run by Brighton Peace and Environment Centre and a People's Funeral Centre run by Arka. There is also a small communal meeting room, kitchen facilities and an outdoor seating area for the summer.

Friends of the Earth campaigns for solutions to environmental problems. We want to see nature being better protected and recovering and to see people across the world enjoying a better standard of living. We know that the Earth is our only home so wrecking it doesn't make sense.
Our South East Regional Campaigner, is currently working on campaigns related to climate change - promoting clean renewable energy and resisting false solutions like shale gas.
Its great for us to work in a building managed by landlords that understand what we do and who we are. We want our business premises to be as sustainable as possible and we know that the Eco Centre and its tenants tries to walk the talk as much as they can.

Millions of bicycles are thrown away or left to rust in the UK while millions of people in Africa are forced by lack of transport to walk up to 4-hours per day, to school, work or fetching water.
Re~Cycle ships donated bikes (41,000 thus far), tools and spare parts to Africa, where partner organisations refurbish and distribute them.
We have just opened a depot in London and have several drop off points there. Renting space from Ethical Property here in Brighton is great for networking as well as allowing us the use of meeting rooms in other centres across the UK.
